Dear Oakley Parents and Guardians
We are now in the final week of this short half term and your daughters have been working harder than ever, many of them adapting to study leave and all of them preparing for end of year assessments. We have been supporting them in Oakley with regular treats and fruit to keep them going through the exam season:
The Upper Sixth marked the start of their study leave with the customary Manic Games which was enjoyed in glorious sunshine:
And they also dressed up as Gangsters for a special night out:
My thanks to the Fourth Form girls who volunteered to participate in the recent Junior House Tennis Competition. They represented Oakley and played really well:
At the weekend many of the girls gathered to enjoy the Eurovision Song Contest, along with millions of other viewers around the world. We had lots of fun in house with games, face paints and judging:
We are very proud that two of our Oakley girls have been appointed as new School Monitors. Ibukun and Kalash deserve their positions of responsibility in recognition of their services to the School so far:
And the highlight this week has been the appointment of our new Oakley Monitor Team for 2025-2026:
Maria Chumak
Alvina Chui
Ashlina Gurung
Christina Ha
Gabi Kutry
Nikki Liu
Ibukun Okeowo
Sai-Nam Panyasiri
Kalash Rai
Trissie Wong
They have already made a great start with their new teams and contributions to House life and I am sure will prove themselves to be excellent role models over the coming year.
Best wishes
Victoria Adams
